About Healthyeme
Healthyeme is a growing plant-based and wholesome food startup focused on creating nutritious, delicious and convenient food products. Our product range includes granola, nut butters, seed crackers, roasted nuts and seeds, and energy bites.
We are looking for a responsible, organized and proactive Business Operations & HR Intern who wants hands-on experience working with an early-stage food startup and is interested in understanding how a business operates from the inside.
About the Role
This is a practical, hands-on internship where you will work closely with the founder and support day-to-day business operations, e-commerce coordination, documentation, data management, B2B research and basic HR activities.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with spreadsheets, organizing information, following up on tasks and taking ownership of assigned work.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Operations
- Maintain inventory and raw-material tracking sheets.
- Track stock levels of ingredients, packaging materials and finished products.
- Assist with production planning and production trackers.
- Maintain production, packing and dispatch records.
- Track customer orders and order status.
- Assist with Amazon and JioMart order monitoring.
- Maintain customer, order and product databases.
- Identify pending orders, stock requirements and operational follow-ups.
- Help organize digital files, records and business documents.
- Assist in creating and maintaining Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Identify repetitive tasks and suggest simple ways to improve processes.
Procurement & Inventory Support
- Maintain records of raw-material purchases and suppliers.
- Track material usage and upcoming requirements.
- Assist with supplier research and comparison.
- Help maintain basic purchase and expense records.
- Coordinate information required for production and packaging.
B2B Business Development Support
- Research potential cafés, gyms, wellness businesses, corporate clients and other B2B opportunities.
- Build and maintain a database of potential business leads.
- Research company/contact information and organize leads in Google Sheets or Excel.
- Assist with basic lead follow-up and lead-status tracking.
- Support the founder in preparing B2B outreach lists and maintaining the sales pipeline.
HR & People Operations
- Assist with internship recruitment and candidate database management.
- Maintain internship applications and interview trackers.
- Assist with interview scheduling and candidate communication.
- Maintain basic internship documentation.
- Help prepare onboarding and internship-related documents.
- Maintain attendance/task trackers where required.
- Assist in preparing internship completion records and certificates.
- Help organize basic HR and employee documentation.
Reporting & Data Management
- Maintain weekly operations trackers.
- Prepare simple weekly reports covering orders, inventory, production, leads and pending tasks.
- Ensure business data is updated and organized.
- Use Excel/Google Sheets for basic tracking, sorting and reporting.
- Highlight important pending tasks or operational issues to the founder.
Who Can Apply?
- BMS, BBA, B.Com, MBA, HR, Finance, Management, Operations or related students and fresh graduates.
- Freshers are welcome.
- Candidates interested in startups, business operations, HR, e-commerce or entrepreneurship are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets is preferred.
- Good organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn are important.
- Candidates who take initiative and can identify problems and suggest practical solutions will be preferred.

Internship Details

Internship to Employment Opportunity
This is a 3-month, non-stipendiary internship designed to provide practical experience in business operations, HR and startup management.
Based on performance, contribution and overall suitability during the internship, selected interns may be considered for a paid employment opportunity with Healthyeme after successful completion of the internship.
Employment terms and compensation will be discussed separately with candidates selected for the employment opportunity.
