Hello Geniuses
I want to know the difference between American accent and British accent??
And also, which one we should prefer if we are intending to learn it. I mean which accent is more acceptable universally?

    Which Accent Should You Learn?

It depends on your goals! But here’s some general guidance:

    American accent is:

Widely understood due to Hollywood, music, tech (Google, Apple), and global business.

More common in North America, Asia, and South America.

British accent (especially RP or standard British):

Popular in Europe, Commonwealth countries, and some parts of Africa.

Seen as elegant or “posh” by some, especially in academic or formal settings.

So, Which is More Universally Accepted?

American accent tends to be more globally recognized and understood, especially in business, entertainment, and tech.

    But honestly?

    Clarity > Accent.

Speak clearly and confidently, whether it’s American or British. Most people care more about understanding you than how you pronounce "schedule" (which is skedule in the US and shedule in the UK, by the way!).

American accent: says “r” strongly (car → car), used in movies and business.
British accent: softer “r” (car → cah), used in UK.

American accent is more common worldwide.
